FAME Symposium 2026 – Industrializing Research in Additive Manufacturing

DIMECC Oy:n vetämä FAME (Finnish Additive Manufacturing Ecosystem) ‑ekosysteemi ja LUT-yliopisto järjestävät kaksipäiväisen Additive Manufacturing ‑teemaisen Symposium-tapahtuman LUT‑yliopistolla 20.–21.5.2026. Tapahtuma kokoaa yhteen yritykset, tutkijat ja opiskelijat keskustelemaan siitä, miten lisäävän valmistuksen tutkimus ja innovaatiot saadaan tehokkaasti osaksi teollista käytäntöä. Ohjelmassa on asiantuntijapuheenvuoroja, teollisuuden case-esimerkkejä, posterisessioita, yritysständejä sekä tutustuminen LUTin laboratorioihin. Tapahtuma tarjoaa ajankohtaista tietoa AM-teknologioiden hyödyistä ja uusista sovelluksista sekä mahdollisuuden verkostoitua alan toimijoiden kanssa.

About the Symposium

FAME Symposium 2026 is Finland’s leading international two-day event dedicated to additive manufacturing (AM). It brings together industry leaders and experts from research organizations to explore how AM innovations can be industrialized and implemented in practice. The symposium combines presentations of the latest research findings with a broad range of industrial talks — from business perspectives to concrete technical solutions and real examples of the benefits AM can deliver.

This year’s theme, Industrializing Research in Additive Manufacturing, focuses on bridging the gap between research innovation and real-world applications. Through shared experiences and discussions, the symposium aims to accelerate the adoption of AM technologies across sectors.
